Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy

In the past decade, Magna-Kron Corp. has experienced exceptional growth. As we continue to grow, we realize the need to broaden our accountability and responsibility to the global chemical market. In becoming an integral player in the global chemical distribution industry, Magna-Kron strives to improve the health, safety, and environment at large. Magna-Kron’s unique position as a distributor with offices in the United States, China, and Singapore provides countless opportunities to advise and disseminate information regarding safer business practices. Moreover, as a distributor, we recognize and accept the challenges to implementing safer practices both upstream and downstream in the life cycle of all our products. To accomplish our goal of aiding the chemical industry in improving the management of health, safety, and environmental performance, we have developed and implemented HSE Accountability Procedures.

Our HSE Accountability Procedures were developed in response to the initiatives of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA). The ICCA seeks to organize and unify the global chemical industry to improve management of chemicals worldwide. ICCA’s efforts have resulted in the creation of several initiatives, namely the Global Product Strategy and Responsible Care®. The success of these initiatives depends heavily on the commitment of all market participants. As one of such participants, Magna-Kron pledges its commitment to construct and adapt its business practices to support the goals of these initiatives.

We strongly believe that our market position allows us to be a leader in the integration of ICCA’s Global Product Strategy and Responsible Care® initiatives. Magna-Kron has developed special relationships with its suppliers and customers permitting unrivaled communication. These relationships allow Magna-Kron to partner with its suppliers and customers to implement its HSE Accountability Procedures efficiently and effectively. It is the utilization of these relationships through which Magna-Kron seeks to ensure that the right people in the right places are equipped with the resources and capabilities needed to carry-out and sustain the initiatives of the ICCA.
